FreshMushrooms has established itself as the market leader in the cultivation of fresh psilocybin mushrooms in the Netherlands, considered the European hub of magic mushroom cultivation. It was founded by Hans Grootewal, its current CEO, more than 25 years ago.
Initially they were specialized in the production and marketing of fresh hallucinogenic mushrooms until a legislative change in the Netherlands in 2017 forced them to change their main activity. They now focus their production on magic truffles, microdoses and cultivated breads.
