Substrate Mix Composition

Its professional blend guarantees a consistent, contaminant-free growing environment, making it ideal for both home mushroom cultivation and technical mycology projects.

• Coconut Fiber: Provides a stable structural matrix, excellent aeration, and acts as a moisture reservoir.

• Vermiculite: A lightweight mineral that dramatically improves water retention capacity and helps maintain the porous structure of the substrate.

• Pasteurized Organic Compost: Supplies the essential nutrient source (typically nitrogen and carbohydrates) that mycelium needs to form high-quality mushrooms. Pasteurization ensures the elimination of competing spores and microorganisms, reducing the risk of contamination.

This substrate comes pre-packaged in XLS-B bags equipped with a 5.0 μm filter (micrometers), which guarantees optimal gas exchange (FAE) with the environment, while actively protecting the growing medium from external contaminants.

Instructions for use

1. Make sure the substrate is at the proper moisture level.
2. Mix the substrate with your colonized mycelium grain or spawn.
3. Place the mixture in your growing container (tray, bag, tub).
