Inoculating this sterilized grain is exceptionally straightforward:

1. Working in the most aseptic environment possible, inoculate the bag with the spore syringe or liquid mycelium of your desired strain.

2. Carefully reseal the bag (if necessary).

3. Keep the substrate in a clean, warm place (ideally 20–24 °C).

4. Once colonized, the grain will be ready to be mixed with a bulk substrate to begin the fruiting phase.
